(Books of the Infinite, book 1)

Prophet is not for the faint of heart. R.J. Larson is a fantastic writer and, if you’re looking for a novel that sucks you in, this is it! However, you’re not going to walk away from this book without feeling challenged in your faith. No way. Ela may be a prophet, but you get a front row seat to, not only the Infinite’s amazing miracles, but also Ela’s extremely human feelings and emotions. Ever wonder why Elijah ran from Jezebel after God showed himself so powerful on Mt. Caramel? Well, Ela can tell you. Besides being a fascinating, suck-you-in, you’re-not-gonna-sleep-until-you-finish-the-last page, book…you’re going to walk away and reconsider your life and what amazing things God has in store for YOU if only you’d say “yes”.

I cannot WAIT for the next book in this series!!!

“No girl has ever become a prophet of the Infinite. And the elders warn that she will die young. But Ela heeds the call of her beloved Creator and is sent to bring the Infinite’s word to a nation torn asunder by war. There she meets a young ambassador determined to bring justice. Can she balance the leading of her heart with the leading of the Infinite?”

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review - thank you!
